Jitong Railway is well-known by train enthusiasts because of its steam locomotives, but the steam locomotive era ended in 2006.
But there are many fabulous photos, taken in Reshui and Simingyi, we can still see them on Railpictures.
At reshui, Jitong Railway has two big U-curves to climb the summit.
This train was on the third level, and approching Liudigou station, at left-up corner in this photo, you can find the second level railway.
In September 2024, new electrified railways will be opened, these curves will be replaced by tunnels, and the era of diesel locomotives will also end.
