Museum volunteers pose on the 60 foot manually operated wrought iron Boston Bridge Works turntable (formerly located at the Boston and Albany Railroad facility in Dudley, Mass)on the night of Saturday, October 2, 2021. The engine on the turntable is former Long Island Rail Road #400 (GE 44T), left to right across in the roundhouse: Central Vermont Caboose #4052, Pfizer Corporation (Car Mover, Trackmobile), Northeast Utilities (GE 25T), Maine Central Railbus #10 (Fairmont Railways), Standard Steel Works Company #10 (0-4-0, Baldwin), and Rutland Caboose #40.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
