SNCF X2204 - Tende
It has been 12 years since the last french railcar of the X2200-series performed regular service on the Tenda railway between Cuneo and Nice. On September 19th, on the occasion of the "Train de Merveilles Retrò", the X2204 of the ATTCV - Association Train Touristique du Centre Var, came back with a special train from Carnoules to Tende via Nice and Sospel. Here we see the railcar departing from Tende station, passing the big viaduct over the Roya, with a fortunate sun spot.
During an open-air exhibition which lasted from 16 to 20 June and organized by the street artist JR, over 200 photographs of the inhabitants of Tenda Shot by photographer Géraldine Maupu were posted on the viaduct. They hold out to this day.
