Crossing Cutler Creek in Corning. Amtrak Train 973 was an extra over Norfolk Southern Corp's network to Amtrak's Keystone Line to deliver ALSTOM Acela II Trainset 3 on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. While powered by a not pictured set of P42s, a trailing angle shows Acela II power car 2108 with the lengthy trainset without any overhead wire, which will be needed for them to operate in service. The train was on its way to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from Alstom's Hornell, New York facilitiy where it will continue to be assessed before entering revenue service.
