On October 26, 2020, a train composition of the Rhaetian Railway, running as Interregio from St.Moritz to Chur, collided with several stone blocks shortly before the station Sils im Domleschg. Three cars of the ALVRA articulated train # 5 derailed and were badly damaged. The locomotive driver was injured. Since then, the train was out of service, as this fixed-coupled 6-car ALVRA trains cannot run shortened. The damaged cars have now been repaired and are back in service, with the exception of control car At, which was running ahead at the time, and whose repair is still ongoing. The IR 1144 from St.Moritz over the Albula line to Chur can be seen at Bever, pushed by the "Allegra" ABe 8/12 3511. At the head is the 2nd class cab car Bt # 52805, which replaces the first class At # 57805, then the 6-car ALVRA composition # 5 follows.
