Remarks & Notes
A loaded United States Sugar Corp train is seen on the former Atlantic Coast Line swing bridge crossing the Caloosahatchee Canal at Moore Haven. The train has just been loaded with sugar cane and is headed to the plant in Clewiston. Locomotive 312 is a GP11 that was built as a GP9 as Illinois Central 9331 in December 1957. The photo is taken from the sidewalk of the State Highway 25 bridge.
