The Reading & Northern is arguably one of the most desirable railfan destinations east of the Mississippi and seems to be headed nowhere but up on the list of must-see railroads. From vintage EMD power in handsome paint schemes (but yes, there are ex NS "bandits" running around awaiting paint) to the excitement over Reading 2102 back under steam, there is something for everyone.
Here, the WHHB-1 works the sprawling Humboldt Industrial Park. The trio of SD40-2s is a nice catch for any railroad these days. On this Saturday morning, the trio is the inbound from train WHFF from Friday night.
