4-6-2 express train steamlocomotive 01 # 180 of the Bavarian Railway Museum (BEM) is leaving the shed in Nördlingen. The locomotive was built by Henschel in 1936 for the Deutsche Reichsbahn, ran for the Deutsche Bundesbahn after WW II and got a new larger boiler in 1960. Withdrawn in 1973 and purchased by a swiss industrialist, exhibited in Bowil in Switzerland. In 2011 bought by the BEM and made operational again since 2014, based in Nördlingen.
