| Test Train.
A short non-revenue consist was at Budapest Kelenföld vasútállomás (Kelenfold railway station) on Sunday, June 13, 2022, consisting of a single Class V43 (Ganz, 1963-1982) locomotive and a GSM-R measurement car. The consist was performing tests of the international wireless communications system on one of the lines out of Budapest.
The locomotive on the consist belongs to the Hungarian-Austrian railway company known in Hungarian as Gy?r-Sopron-Ebenfurti Vasút (GYSEV) and in German as Raaberbahn. This railway operates services on the border between the two countries, and is jointly owned by the two. |
