1th of august is Swiss National Day, the trains of the Rigibahnen are adorned with flags of Switzerland, cantons of Lucerne and Schwyz. An there is "Rigi Historic XXL Day", with most of the historic vehicles running up and down the mountain. The view goes over the two lines between Rigi Staffel and Rigi Kulm, with Lake Lucerne and the town of Lucerne in the background, as well as the old Felchlin hotel. Red cogwheel railcar BDhe 4/4 # 5 of 1965 with cars B # 15 (1899) and B # 14 (1902) is running down to Vitznau as train 1110. On the right is cogwheel railcar BDhe 2/4 # 7 of 1925 with car B # 33 of 1875, running down to Arth Goldau as train 126, with lowered pantograph.
