Remarks & Notes
Crossing By The Creamery. Saratoga Corinth & Hudson Railway/Raven Rail LLC 3021 (ex-SNC 821, exx-UHRR 821, exxx-SIRT 821, née-USAX 7108, Alco S2, 7/1943) moved out of its siding in Shushan, New York on the Batten Kill Railroad for the first time in quite a while on Friday, July 29, 2022 with Greenwich and Johnsonville caboose 311728 (exxx-SNC 1001, exx-UHRR-24548, ex-Conrail, 24548, née-Penn Central 24548, N-12, 1974). This engine has had a lengthy and continuous career for 8 decades, having been built for the U.S. Army before serving on Staten Island Rapid Transit and later finding its way to tourist railroad service. The set is passing the former D&H creamery building in Shushan, New York near County Road 61, which is now a private residence and was repainted on that day.
