On August 24th, 2022, New York City Transit GE SL50 50-Ton diesel #892 shoves a work train over Whitlock Avenue along the IRT Pelham Line in the Bronx, NY as the last bit of sunlight fades into the horizon. 892 was recently rebuilt and sports a special "Tribute" paint scheme, which pays respects to fallen transit heroes.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
