Remarks & Notes
I took a sideview of this train in Lancaster, South Carolina as the L&C shoves back on the former Southern Railway line to the AmeriSteel plant. Both engines were built for the Southern in 1974 as EMD GP38ACs. The 2829 has been modified with a low short hood in front while the second motor, 2866, retains her high short hood.
