Remarks & Notes
The Vermont Rail Systems DASW (Bellows Fall Switcher) crew is seen using the 1951 Alco RS-1 built for the Rutland Railroad. As they finish their work day they are bringing VRS 207 over the stone arch bridge from Bellows Falls, VT to North Walpole, NH. The engine came down on road freight 263 dead in tow, destined to be painted at North Walpole.
