| A Union Pacific intermodal train utilizes the broad valley of the Platte River to head west across Nebraska, seen near Clarks. The train is gradually, imperceptibly gaining elevation as it swiftly makes its way toward the west coast, just like Grenville Dodge laid it out back in the 1860's. |
