A short lived Steam Excursion for the Reading T-1. If you didn't get your shot of 2102 early on Oct 8th, You didn't get it at all.
The 2102 deadheaded from Port Clinton to Reading Outer Station, The New Outer Station, early on and pulled North with the Ramble Train at 9 am. Dude to Steam / Throttle issues, Some say a melted plate that held the stoker screw, the 2102 was pulled off the train promptly at Port Clinton. The R&N Fast Freight Service engines were the new power for the rest of the day. Much disappointment for the Steam fans.
