| GTW 79054 sits on the old GM lead at Kilgore Yard in Portage Michigan. The Kalamazoo Job home base of operation. This Caboose has seen better days but still serves a purpose on the job as a shoving platform. Due to the industry layout and track plan of Kalamazoo, the Conductor often needs to shove long distance and over busy roads. This provides comfort and protection. |
