| St. Croix Valley Railroad #1363 is parked for the day along old highway 61 in North Branch. This track is part of the former Northern Pacific Skally Line connecting St. Paul to Duluth. The route in St. Paul was converted into the Bruce Vento Trail which ends at White Bear Lake. Then there is a section of rail which is still operated by Minnesota Commercial from White Bear Lake to Hugo. From Hugo there are two trails up to North Branch. The St. Croix Valley Railroad operates North Branch to Hinkley and the Munger trail connects from Hinkley all the way to Duluth. |
