| With COVID-19 in full swing, SEPTA service was limited. Pennsylvania Northeastern took advantage of this and provided railfans with the opportunity to chase the Lansdale - Ivyland turn in daylight. Normally this is a late night/early morning turn as to not interfere with passenger traffic along SEPTA's Warminster line and Lansdale/Doylestown Lines.
In this photo, the last operating GE C39-8 passes by SEPTA's Hatboro train station on the return trip to Lansdale. It was quite weird shooting this train on what is normally a somewhat busy platform. |
