New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R160A no. 9268 (Alstom, 2005-2010) is the lead motor on a Forest Hills-bound R train seen stopped at 46th St Station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line. The R train runs underground on its long, 45-station local route from Forest Hills, Queens to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, briefly surfacing for air where it crosses the LIRR Bay Ridge Branch (though this is still below the street on a two-level bridge).
