| After a 20-hour shut down for a winter storm, the KYLE was back to business Thursday westbound towards Limon. Here the crew snakes over the grade between Sleden and Rexford on the Phillipsburg Sub. Classic KYLE scenery in Kansas with a slow-moving 10 mph train. Thursday was good for us as the train moved 55 miles in 6 hours. Unfortunately overnight wouldn't be as good as the train would move 20 miles in 13 hours with 2 crews onboard, and 50 miles on Friday before the crew tied down for the evening at Seibert. |
