As the sun sets on the evening of May 4th, 2023, CSX L017, with EMD GP40-2 #6222 solo, shoves a refrigerated railcar consist along the sidewalk of Edgewater Road while traversing the Hunts Point Market Branch in the Bronx borough of New York City. The branch and surrounding area recently received a handful of upgrades as part of New York State's $1.7 Billion Hunts Point Access Improvement Project. Some of these upgrades include signalized rail crossing systems at every intersection, a renovated Garrison Park (seen on the left) and new sidewalk/ track along Edgewater Road.
