"PC Reflections at Merritt 7"
On the evening of March 29th, 2023, CDOT GE P32AC-DM #230 leads Metro-North train 1860 through the new Merritt 7 station complex taking shape on the Danbury Branch in Norwalk, CT. This new station will replace the old low-level platform just south of this location.
In addition to its McGinnis inspired New Haven Railroad paint scheme, 230 sports Penn Central Transportation Company decals paying homage to the now defunct company which ran service on the line before it was eventually taken over Metro-North.
