Remarks & Notes
Capital District Waterfront Railroading. The Albany Port Railroad is jointly owned by CSX and CPKC, and serves the waterfront adjacent freight lines that spiral throughout the port, providing last mile serve to a variety of customers for freight interchanged with both companies. Expansion looms on the horizon as the port is presently undergoing a significant period of construction on recently acquired land to be able to move more cargo through the already bustling terminal. Their reporting marks, APD, stand for Albany Port District. Though written in large letters on some of their equipment, APR is in fact Alberta Prairie Railroad.

On May 31, 2023, the crew was working the Archer Daniels Midland facility with GMTX 390 (MILW 444, MP15AC, EMD, 1/1976). This locomotive came on to the property when APD 13 was sold to Genesee Valley Transportation and is now the primary locomotive used for service.
