A Lake Superior & Ishpeming crew begins drilling cars out on the Marquette Ore Dock in Marquette, Michigan. The docked vessel, Kaye E. Barker, was built in 1952. Over the years the ship has received modifications in the form of lengthening, repowering and converting to a self unloader.
