Acela 2 Train Set 8 Delivery, The Ocho. In the early morning hours of Thursday, August 31, 2023, Amtrak Acela Train Set 8 passed through the MTA Metro-North Riverdale Station for delivery from Alstom to Amtrak. After returning Train Set 5 to Hornell on the north/eastbound run, AMTK P42 122 returned with shiny new set (2118/2146) as Train 870 at about 0010. The train would proceed to New York's Penn Station before looping in Sunnyside Yard and continuing on to Philadelphia Coach Yard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
