Remarks & Notes
Fresh out of the box... Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines GP38 no. 2000 has been restored to its original paint scheme after a several-decade hiatus from New Jersey. Recently returned to home rails now operated by the Cape May Seashore Lines, PRSL 2000 made its first official run in the all-black scheme on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, on the north end of a short passenger train between Richland and Milmay, NJ. The plaque on the frame above the front truck reads: "GENERAL MOTORS - ELECTRO MOTIVE DIVISION (GM-EMD) LOCOMOTIVE MODEL GP38 This locomotive, number 2000, was built by GM - EMD for the Pennsylvania - Reading Seashore Lines (PRSL) of Camden, New Jersey, during December of 1967. Locomotive number 2000 was the class (first) GP38 of 15 GP38's built for the PRSL, with the locomotives numbered 2000 through 2014. Locomotive number 2000 was later acquired by Conrail, and renumbered 7660. The CM Seashore Lines dedicates the restoration of locomotive number 2000 to all of the men and women who worked for the Pennsylvania - Reading Seashore Lines between 1933 and 1976."

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
