Metro-North's 2023 Holiday Train, Day Three - New Haven Line. MTA Metro-North Railroad/Metro-North Railroad MNCW 208 (MNR "Beachball"/40th Anniversary) and MNCW 211 (New York Central Heritage/40th Anniversary) held down the assignment day three of the Employee Holiday Train on December 5, 2023, which made the round trip from Grand Central Terminal in New York, New York to New Haven, Connecticut. One of the cars is former New York Central, and the other two former Lackawanna Railroad. The train travels to various MNR facilities to deliver the company gifts and some cheer to employees over several days during the holiday season.
