| The snow clearing crew of the Rhaetian Railway from the Pontresina depot is trying to clear the snow from the roof of the snow blower Xrot mt # 95403 in Ospizio Bernina (2253 meter a.s.l.). As the overhead line here is under 1000 V DC voltage, they are not allowed to climb any higher. So the operation was carried out later in Alp Grüm on the stub track with the overhead line switched off. The snow blower is pushed by the "Schalke" diesel locomotive Gmf # 23401. |
