Stop Here. While there are no gates on the Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike crossing in West Milford, New Jersey, there are a significant number of warning lights. One is a vintage "Stop Here" light, reminding travelers not to roll up to the literal point of the tracks as they transect the road at a diagonal.
