For the Bernina line St.Moritz to Tirano, the Rhaetian Railway has two powerfull, not self propelled, 900 kW diesel snow blowers, built by the Zaugg company in Eggiwil in 2011. They have a clearing capacity of 8,500 t/h. The blower units can be extended sideways to a clearing width of 6 m. Xrot mt # 95403 is shoved by diesellocomotive Gmf # 23401. For the main network, the RhB has two similar, less powerful snowblowers, Xrot mt # 95401/95402, based in Thusis and Chur Sand (for the Arosa line).
