With only a week left till Christmas, BNSF and UPS are rushing their last minute packages to be delivered before Christmas morning. During "Peak Season", the railroad adds extra trains to haul the increase demand in packages. One of those trains is the Z-LACCXB (Los Angeles, CA to North Bergen, NJ via CSX interchange at Bedford Park, IL). With 86 loads of UPS cargo, this train is made up packages heading for Boston, MA and New York, NY. Here at Needles, CA, the train is in the process of its first crew change of its cross country journey. The first crew want 325 miles from LA's Hobart Yard. After five minutes, the outbound crew starts to pull as they begin their 298 miles journey over the Arizona Divide as they'll run to Winslow, AZ.
