Remarks & Notes
Name That Town After Your Railroad. As the double headed Union Pacific 6531 (AC44CW, 2/2000) and 6202 (née-Southern Pacific 130, AC44CW, 4/1995) approaches Dozier Crossing in Pacific, Missouri on January 13, 2012 with an empty coal train, the trace of snow remaining snow conveys the feel of the bone chilling cold temps. The former "espee" trailer is notable in its patched red paint, a contrast to the endless stream of armour yellow locomotives. The City of Pacific was named for the Pacific Railroad in 1849, a predecessor to the Missouri Pacific that would ultimately become part of Union Pacific in 1997.
