Remarks & Notes
Track Two Tunnel. On the snowy morning of Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Amtrak Train 240 with P32AC-DM 717 leading pops out of the 1928 New York Central Railroad built Garrison Tunnel en route to New York Penn Station. This area and the adjoining station were reconfigured in the late 1920s to adapt to the growing population in the neighborhood, and have since been rebuilt to include high level platforms and other modern amenities.
