Remarks & Notes
Snow At The State Line. On February 13, 2022, NJ Transit Train 1719 was led by GP40PH-2 4109 (née CNJ 3677, GP40-P, EMD, 10/1968), seen about 1,000 feet inside the state of New York before its final stop at the Suffern Station, providing a nice colorful contrast. This was the original paint scheme worn by the "geep", one of thirteen produced for commuter service in the state of New Jersey in 1968, and it was repainted to this tribute from a more modern scheme in 2019 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the creation of NJ Transit.
