Sunday Steam. On Sunday June 10, 2012, the Railroad Museum of New England hosted visiting 0-4-0ST Flagg Coal 75 (née-Flagg Coal Company 2, Vulcan Iron Works, 1930). At the restored former New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad Station in Thomaston, Connecticut, GMC dump truck "RMNE 6" is appropriately at the coal delivery point while the engine is also being watered. During this era, the steam engine traveled extensively across the eastern United States by road truck from place to place make appearances at different railroads and museums before its mandated 15-year rebuild in 2016. The RMNE 6 was acquired and delivered to The Danbury Railway Museum in October, 2023. In the background, former Boston & Maine Railroad SW1 1109 sits on the display track.
