The Empire Debut Of The 46. Amtrak Train 281 was led by AMTK 46 (P42DC, 50th Anniversary) on February 5, 2021. This was the first locomotive to sport the new logo celebrating Amtrak's creation in 1971, which was subsequently added to several other units. The train is seen passing over the High Falls on the Genesee River in Rochester New York, one of the most recognizable landmarks on the route.
