Remarks & Notes 
A Trio of critters: (from left to right) LEFT: GE 44 ton powered by 2 CAT D-17000 diesels making 380 horsepower. Built by General Electric in 1943 for the Western Maryland. It served the industries in South Baltimore before moving on to US Plywood, Kaiser Southern Nitrogen and the Delaware & Ulster. This was D&U's first locomotive. CENTER: GE 44 tonner built in 1947 for American Cyanamid of Bridgewater, NJ and brought to the Middletown and New Jersey in 1963 to supplement MNJ #1. This unit is the sole survivor of pre 2007 MNJ equipment. RIGHT: Designed by Plymouth and built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in 1955, this 25 ton critter was designated SH-2135.(Switcher Hydraulic 2 axle 135 horsepower) It worked for the Orange & Rockland Power Company, south of Bear Mountain in Tomkins Cove, NY and was the Jones Chemical facility switcher in Warwick, NY in the mid 1980s.
