Pre-Season At Roe’s. Locally grown produce is not available at the stand at Roe's Orchards in Chester, New York until July, but the trains run throughout the year. Founded in 1827 and now in its sixth generation of family ownership, seasonal offerings include peaches, plums, apples, pears and berries and cut flowers. On Tuesday, March 12, 2024 the normally nocturnal New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway SU-100 operated in daylight from Binghamton, New York to Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. Leading was NYSW SD33ECO 3012 (OLI, née-SP 8242, SD40T-2, EMD, 4/1980).
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
