A close up study of the smokebox of Virginian Railway No. 4 reveals the trademark number plate on most Baldwin locomotives. VGN no.4 is the only remaining steam locomotive of the VGN. And in it’s career probably helped in giving the VGN the title of “Richest little railroad in the world.”
