| A Santa Fe local switches cars at the railroad's new Denver intermodal facility at Littleton. 'Big Lift' represented the Santa Fe's investment in the growing market for piggyback trailer traffic between the Midwest and Colorado. Unfortunately, profitable traffic levels didn't materialize and the facility was closed roughly five years later. |
