| URy #5006, an MK5000 leads a loaded coal train up Utah’s Price River Canyon just below Kyune. The train is bound for the huge IPP power plant near Delta, Utah and will be interchanged to the Union Pacific in Provo. Utah Ry seems to prefer the MK5000’s as lead power, as their SD50’s are rarely if ever seen as leaders although mixed consists are common. |
