National Train Day 2010 at Portland, Oregon Beautiful sunny skies greeted rail enthusiasts of all ages as they came to Portland's Union Station to see a variety of equipment and organizations. Equipment on hand included SP 4449, PNWC-NRHS 600 "Mt. Hood" Pullman Standard passenger car, BNSF 7400, OPR 1202, UP 25198 caboose and two privately owned speeder cars. Organizations on hand included Amtrak, Union Pacific, Operation Lifesaver, ORHF, NRHS, AORTA, Washington Park Zoo and many others.
