Eastbound Amtrak No. 50, the Washington section of the "George Washington," is ready to leave Charlottesville, VA on Feb. 9, 1974 with Amtrak E8A No. 200 and B&O GP7 No. 5631. No. 98, the Newport News section had already departed with a B&O GP7 and a dome coach.
