| "Lackawanna 663 and 664" proudly glow in the sun in their stunning paint after having turned in a bravura performance with a 53 mile Scranton-Tobyahanna PA roundtrip excursion. Both the engineer and the chief mechanical officer were very pleased with the performance of these revitalized veterans. While of course these locos are not original DL&W locos we are here in Scranton, the operating heart of the Lackawanna so we can enjoy a scene that did exist many years ago right here. |
