Southbound For A Change. Conway Scenic usually keeps #7470 facing north/west for practical reasons. This Sunday morning, however, was Railfan Weekend and thus, she faced toward the sun on the morning's first trip to Conway, allowing the assembled photographers (but not Kevin Madore, who left early) an unusual angle at Moat Brook Trestle. Several of the trestle bents still have remnants of the high water dumped on the area by Hurricane Irene earlier in the month.
