Remarks & Notes
The shell of a soon-to-be-rebuilt NS road slug, RP-E4C 736, sits outside the Juniata Shops. Behind the slug is GP38-2 5064, a high hood unit built for the Southern in August 1973. At the rear is Norfolk Southern's first widecab locomotive, C40-9W 8889 (built Jan. 1996), in a fresh coat of paint, making one wonder if this unit will be part of the festivities for NS's 30th anniversary on June 1, 2012.
