| A rare look inside the B&O Railroad Museum's back shop finds a near finished restoration of the Museum's prized B&O "AJ Cromwell" #545 which was damaged when the roof collapsed at the Museum in 2003, seen in a photo here. In short order, the boiler sheets (gray, vrs the previous green) will be installed and the engine will return to display. The engine was built in 1888 by the B&O Mount Clare Shops located where the Museum stands today. A well earned pat on the back to the Museum for it's continuing work on restoring it's priceless artifacts - one by one. |
