| A view from a time before the BB operated a LOT less trackage than they do now. In just a few years, the BB would go from a sleepy branchline operator to the largest shortline operator in Virginia. BB 1 is showing her L&N heritage with spark arrestors and the pipe added to the radiator section. This unit is still on the roster today, albeit with a chopped short hood and new paint job.
