| At 7600 ft along the frozen Scolfield reservoir on the Pleasant Valley branch it can become quite the winter wonderland. Attempting to get the shot, I had to climb the hill in the snow with the elevation and the cold air, all with the train bearing down on me. This shot really got my lungs burning. The empty coal train is nearing the Skyline loadout on this former D&RGW branch. |
